The selective laser melting (SLM) of o-Cr-Mo-W/316L composite with 10 wt% Co-Cr-Mo-W addition to 316L stainless steel (SS) powder is produced explore it’s the corrosion behavior. tensile experiment SLM composites also measured investigate difference between two samples. optimum parameters SS and samples are obtained by adjusting power scanning speed relative density 99.04 ± 0.69 99.15 0.43. yield strength increased from 731.96 MPa 784.09 after doping, no obvious crack or fracture failure in observed, indicating that excellent plasticity still maintained. resistance improved largely an order magnitude lower current than increasing 277 mv epit Ep. Cr element doped contributes formation passivated film containing Cr. different pitting pit occurs mainly around pre-existing pores further extends outward form pits increase voltage.
